Clay Turtle WIP

My boyfriend and girlfriend recently (two days ago) bought me some air-dry clay and I've finally been awake enough after work to work on making something. This is a kind of Stitch-Work turtle I made for him. It's still a work in progress since the clay will probably take two days to dry enough for me to break out the paint to finish it, but I think it turned out relatively okay. I was going to go with a steampunk style turtle, but I'm still in lazy mode and didn't feel like doing all those gears and bolts. Especially the bolts. Another reason is that this is still a pretty new medium for me and I don't want to get too ambitious at the very start and screw myself over, sending me into Artist Rage.
